Cardinal Fever is so high, some Valley Church's are moving their services to make way for the Super Bowl."We know with the Cardinals playing that the interest is really high, so we'll be praying for a miracle, praying for the Cardinals to win, that God may grant them that grace," said Father John Coleman with St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Chandler."
St. Andrew's Church located off of Ray Road and the Loop 101 is moving it's 5:30 evening mass to 2:00 p.m. and canceling it's Sunday evening youth ministry classes.
"We know all eyes will be on the Super Bowl. In order to give the time to people who want to go to Super Bowl parties or watching the Super Bowl we decided to move our evening mass." said Father Coleman.
Coleman said St. Andrew's is not the only parish giving way to the Super Bowl.
He said they got the idea from St. Patrick's in Scottsdale, which moves it's evening service every year for Super Bowl.
St. Andrew's will be holding it's own Super Bowl, spelled "Souper Bowl" to feed the hungry.
In celebration of the event, parishioners are being asked to bring a non-perishable food item and place on the team table of their choice.
"The winner of the Souper Bowl of Caring will be the team that gets the most donations," said Coleman who will be praying the Cardinals win both bowls.
